New Cards

Super excited to show you these new cards we have had printed to add to our range! The cards are printed locally in Melbourne on post consumer waste card using vegetable based inks. Our Tea and Hope image is very popular and I am endlessly being asked if it comes in a card, so here we go! I had fun putting together the Birthday one and the thank you card works so well with the Tea one. These cards and some of my new work will be available to buy in our etsy shop and for the very first time at Magnolia Square in Melbourne this weekend! Can't wait, should be good! Paula x

flowers, garden and vintage finds

It is a lovely time of the year here in Melbourne, we have been having some wonderful weather. Apparently it is nearly the end of Hydrangea season so I was very pleased to pick up this beautiful bunch from Blomsville, a lovely florist in Balwyn. I actually also bought the jar they are in and these very cute mirrored tea light glasses - Marcello, who owns the florist, has a great eye and his tiny shop is packed full of fresh flowers and lots of lovely things - I always leave with my arms full! I then stumbled down the road to a charity shop and picked up a few good finds - the sweet milk jug and an old toast holder which will come in handy for holding my post or maybe some cards on display. We had a quiet weekend enjoying the good weather and had a giggle at our carrot harvest -the girls were so excited to pull them from the ground even though they are all slightly dwarfed!

Sweet William Prints in Signed and Numbered

Kareena Zerefos
Beth Emily
Paula Mills
GhostPatrol above and Cath Campbell below

I am so thrilled about this! Signed and Numbered is an amazing little shop in Greville Street, Prahan that only sells art prints. I have walked past and drooled over the art in the shop before so you can imagine my thrill when I got an email from Jacqui asking if I would be interested in stocking some of my work in her shop! A customer had bought in some work to be framed and one of my prints was amongst their collection, Jacqui liked what she saw and got in touch. Yay! It feels wonderful to have my work in such a creative space surrounded by amazing work by artists that I have been following for some time, such as Kareena Zerefos, Cath Campbell, Beth Emily and Ghost Patrol to name a few. You can check out the rest of the shop online here and follow the blog here. So thrilled!

Loving the blues

I picked up the March Elle Decoration UK (my all time favourite interiors magazine) the other day and noticed how much wonderful blue is being featured at the moment. Here are some inspiring images featuring all the beautiful shades of blue with lots of pattern and colour. Blue is such a calming colour, I wonder if I could have a deep turquoise wall somewhere in my home? Hmmm, I am going to have a serious think about it. All links to these images can be found on my pinterest board, except the first two, which are from the March issue of Elle Decoration UK.

Sweet William at Design Exchange this weekend

I am busy gearing up for my first design market in 2012. I will be heading off to Ballarat for the Design Exchange Market on Sunday the 4th of March from 10-4pm. There will be live music, plenty of creativity and great food. Sounds good to me! Ballarat is home to the Crafty Squirrel a very cute shop owned by Morgan Wills. Morgan will be at the market on Sunday too. If you are in the area do pop in and say hello. It will be quite nice to be venturing out of Melbourne for change of scenery. Have a lovely weekend everyone! P xox
